Lennard Eckhardt, Nancy Brynelson, Les Atchison and Michael Corbett

Muir is governed by a four-member board of directors. The board members include:

• Lennard Eckhardt leckhardt@verizon.net: Lennard spent the first eleven years in education as a teacher/coach and athletic director. His administrative experience includes 10 years as an assistant superintendent followed by 14 years as superintendent in a K-12 school district. During that time he also served as Chairman of a large investment pool for public funds.
• Nancy Brynelson: Co-Director of the California State University Center for the Advancement of Reading
• Les Atchison, President wine_erb@onemain.com: retired educator who had a distinguished career as a teacher, school administrator and leader in professional development
• Michael Corbett: lobbyist for local governments and special districts in California and an advocate for programs like the CCC
