The young women and men of the Corps work hard protecting and restoring California's environment and responding to disasters, becoming stronger workers, citizens and individuals through their service.

John Muir Charter School at the Camarillo CCC offers corpsmembers an educational program that makes a positive impact in the lives of our students, as well as the community.
Diverse ProgramTop of Page

John Muir Charter School at the Camarillo CCC is a diverse program which allows for education to be accessible to all corpsmembers. We offer the following services:

  • support for corpsmembers who are pursuing a high school diploma
  • tutoring help for students who are studying for the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery)
  • tutoring help for those who want to improve on their reading and writing skills
  • computer lab and library, which allow students to access resources to complete research projects and other educational activities
