Rosie the Riveter YouthBuild Program educates young adults in construction and gives them the opportunity to graduate high school.
We service out-of-school youth who have not succeeded in traditional public schools and support them to turn their lives around. Young adults ages 16-24 become socially responsible and obtain the Multi-Craft Core Curriculum from the National Trades Council and their high school diploma from John Muir Charter High School. Our members are prepared to succeed in apprenticeship programs and are committed to community transformation. At WINTER we value education, life skills, employment, violence prevention, and family advocacy.
